These terms cover your use of brainwiredpod.com. The site is run by PsyZen, Inc. ("PsyZen", "we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Not medical advice
Everything on Brainwired is for education and general information. It isn't medical, legal or professional advice, and using the site doesn't make Dr. Tabaac or anyone else your doctor. Please read the full Disclaimer.
Using the site
You're welcome to browse, watch, listen and share links for your own non-commercial use. Please don't:
- use the site to break the law
- try to hack, overload or disrupt the site, or get around its security
- scrape the site or bulk-download its media with bots or scripts
- send spam, harassment or automated messages through the forms
- pretend to be someone else, or misstate your connection to Brainwired
We may block anyone who breaks these terms.
Who owns what
Brainwired episodes, audio clips, video, transcripts, show notes, artwork, the site design, and the Brainwired name and logo belong to PsyZen, Inc. or to the people who licensed them to us. Guests' names and images appear with their permission.
The Brainwired name and logo are trademarks of PsyZen, Inc. Names and logos of other organizations belong to their owners. Showing them doesn't mean those organizations endorse Brainwired.
You may:
- share links to the site and to episodes
- embed episodes using YouTube's own share and embed tools
- quote short excerpts for commentary, criticism, news, teaching or research, with credit to "Brainwired with Dr. Burton Tabaac" and a link back
You need our written permission to:
- re-upload episodes or clips, or cut your own clips for another channel, account or ad
- use our content in a paid product, course or event
- use the Brainwired name or logo, or suggest that we endorse you
- use our content to train AI models

Messages and ideas you send us
When you send a message through the booking form, you confirm that the details are accurate and yours to share. If you send ideas, such as guest suggestions or topics, we're free to use them without paying or crediting you, and we don't have to keep them confidential. Please don't send anything you need kept private.
Copyright concerns
If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, email burton@brainwiredpod.com with:
- the work you believe is being infringed
- where it appears on this site
- your name and contact details
- a statement that you believe, in good faith, that the use isn't authorized
We'll review it and remove material where appropriate.
Other sites and services
The site plays videos from YouTube and links to other services, such as podcast apps, news stories and research papers. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Their own terms apply. Videos played on this site are also covered by YouTube's Terms of Service.
Sponsors and partners
Some episodes may include paid sponsor messages, and they're always labeled. Our sponsorship standards and the host's outside roles are on the Disclosures page.
No warranties
We work to keep the site accurate and running, but we provide it "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes any promise that the content is complete, accurate or current, or that the site will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors. Research moves quickly, and each episode reflects what was known when it was recorded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, PsyZen, Inc., Dr. Tabaac, our guests, partners and service providers aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, that arise from your use of the site or its content. That includes any decision you make based on it. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to US$100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction. This doesn't take away any rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. A new version takes effect when we post it here with a new effective date. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the new terms.
The rest
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer and Disclosures, are the whole agreement between you and us about the site.
